Fun Fact of the Month

We thought we would have a little fun at THP and provide you all with a fun fact (or 2) a month to enhance your hat knowledge and *hopefully* encourage your hat passion!
Sowithout further adue, here is our first hat fact! 

In 1571, Elisabeth I had a law which entailed that males over the age of 7 had to wear a woolen cap on Holydays and Sundays. This was due to the Queen wanting to support the wool industry at the time! See source here for more info!
